Here is the process for removing, inspecting and cleaning the intake system. Note: The engine should be cold before you start this procedure. Remove the upper and lower engine covers. Disconnect and remove the inlet hose from the EGR valve. Remove the hose between the primary MAF and the inlet hose to the turbocharger.
